Working with the Founder & CEO and leadership team, you will strengthen controls and systems, supporting the sustainability of our education, wellbeing, and youth programmes.

Essential Qualities And Experience Include
- Professional experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, payroll or financial management.
- Knowledge of UK financial governance, statutory reporting and compliance requirements.
- Experience overseeing financial controls, budgeting or organisational risk.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues.

What will you be doing?
- As Finance & Governance Manager, you will
- Act as Treasurer for edu SOIL CIC (UK), providing financial oversight and governance.
- Run payroll and ensure payroll processes remain accurate and compliant.
- Prepare and file statutory returns and ensure compliance with UK regulatory requirements.
- Oversee financial governance, internal controls and organisational risk management.
- Supervise and support the Finance & Governance Assistant.
- Review financial records and documentation prepared by the Assistant and Finance Officer.
- Oversee international financial records before submission to licensed accountants.
- Work with the leadership team to strengthen financial systems, governance processes and organisational sustainability.
- Support the development of policies and procedures that promote transparency, accountability and good governance.
