What difference will you make?

As a Programme Assistant, your support will directly strengthen eduSOIL’s ability to deliver impactful education, wellbeing and youth leadership programmes. By assisting with coordination, participant engagement, safeguarding and administration, you will help ensure our programmes run smoothly and reach more children and young people.

Your contribution will enhance our relationships with schools and community partners, improve the quality and consistency of our delivery, and enable our team to focus on creating meaningful learning experiences. Ultimately, your involvement will help empower young people to build confidence, develop leadership skills and create positive change in their communities, while supporting eduSOIL’s growth and long-term impact.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a proactive, organised and reliable volunteer who is passionate about supporting children and young people. The ideal Programme Assistant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enjoy working with schools, community organisations and diverse groups, and be comfortable supporting both programme delivery and administration.

The most important qualities are a positive attitude, strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. You should be adaptable, willing to take initiative and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in education, youth work, community development, event coordination, programme administration or volunteering is desirable but not essential. We also welcome applicants with transferable skills gained through employment, study or voluntary work.

A commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion is essential, along with a genuine interest in education, wellbeing and youth leadership. Confidence using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace is beneficial, and training will be provided where needed.

Above all, we are looking for someone who shares eduSOIL's values and wants to make a meaningful difference by helping children and young people develop the confidence, skills and opportunities to create positive change in their communities.
