By co‑designing, co‑leading and optimising a coherent digital innovation strategy, you will:
- Turn tested, in‑person learning and wellbeing practices into accessible digital journeys
- Ensure AI and digital tools are used responsibly, transparently and in service of learning
- Strengthen progression pathways across the eduSOIL Learning & Leadership Spine
- Create clarity about what should be built, paused, adapted or retired
- Prevent technology‑led drift by keeping pedagogy, safeguarding and wellbeing central

This role ensures that digital innovation serves people, learning and wellbeing first, creating strong foundations for ethical growth rather than reactive or extractive development.
We are seeking a values‑led, digital learning leader with strong technical literacy and a deep respect for safeguarding, pedagogy and wellbeing.
Skills & Experience Needed You should have:
- At least 3–5 years’ professional experience in one or more of the following: eLearning or digital learning systems, instructional design or curriculum design, digital education, EdTech learning platforms, digital innovation within education, youth or wellbeing contexts
- Strong understanding of learning architecture and progression design
- Instructional design principles and learner journeys
- Accessibility, inclusion and culturally responsive learning
- UX/UI considerations as they relate to learning (not just usability)
- Technical literacy sufficient to collaborate confidently with developers and technical partners
- Understand full‑stack implications, system architecture and integration
- Assess feasibility, risk and trade‑offs in digital builds
- Challenge or refine technical proposals when learning integrity is at stake
Experience working with or alongside educators, facilitators, youth workers or programme teams, digital platforms, online communities or blended learning environments is valuable.
We are particularly interested in applicants who:
- Are based in Northern Ireland (though this is not essential)
- Bring lived experience of migration, cultural transition or integration
- Have experience in arts, mindfulness, yoga or wellbeing practice alongside professional expertise
- Are motivated by equity, youth voice and ethical leadership

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Structuring digital learning journeys aligned to the eduSOIL Learning & Leadership Spine
- Overseeing instructional design, learning architecture and accessibility
- Supporting onboarding, engagement and progression across digital learning environments
- Ensuring safeguarding‑aware, wellbeing‑informed and ethically designed digital learning systems
- Supporting responsible and transparent integration of AI into learning and wellbeing contexts
- Collaborating with Programme Directors to align digital learning with delivery reality
- Advising on technical feasibility, UX/UI considerations and learning system improvements
- Supporting review and prioritisation of existing digital prototypes and MVP concepts
This role works closely with the Founder & CEO, Programme Directors and external technical partners where required. This role encompasses learning architecture, instructional design, safeguarding integrity and technical feasibility. It does not determine pricing, monetisation or commercial decisions, which sit with the eCommerce Product Design Manager and Founder & CEO.
