The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

We’re welcoming applications from Teachers, FE Lecturers or retired teachers who have taught A-level Religious Studies to examine either Philosophy of Religion and Religion and Ethics examination papers.

The role Examiners will be required to attend an online examiner conference where training will be given on the procedures of marking scripts. Examiners will mark their scripts online following the examiner conference. Examiners will be paid a fee for attending the examiner conference and a marking fee for each script marked. Examining is a rewarding and interesting experience that can also be undertaken alongside your existing teaching role.

About you We’re keen to hear from current or retired teachers or lecturers with teaching and assessment experience. Candidates should be available for a period of approximately 3 weeks to undertake intensive script marking in June and July.

  • Relevant assessment and teaching experience
  • The ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication, written, verbal, IT and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines
