EdUnity is looking for a competitive and driven talent to join EdUnity’s ‘Business and Marketing Kickstart Program’. The successful candidate will learn about the processes of business development and sales, as well as marketing in a technologically focused SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) startup. The candidate will also benefit from mentorship and ongoing support to improve long‑term employability and skills.
The opportunity is an entry-level position as a Junior Marketing Associate, ideal for individuals seeking a future career in a marketing focused role. The employee will work alongside the team to help develop the marketing strategy and experiment with areas including Social Media, SEO, Digital Advertising and Email Campaigns. Training related to best practices, sales approaches and how to use relevant software will be provided. The company is a small team, ensuring the employee will be able to work and learn collaboratively with the founders. The role will be home‑working with no requirement to attend a work location during the employment period.
Requirements:
- The employee should be fluent in English with good verbal and written skills.
- A good grasp of technologies and the ability to develop an understanding of new platforms will be advantageous.
Remuneration:
The programme will pay £6.45 GBP per hour with twenty‑five (25) hours a week for a six (6) month placement. This works out at £161.25 GBP a week (£640.00 GBP a month) or £3,870.00 GBP across the program.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Aged 16 - 24
- Resident in either England, Scotland or Wales
- Claiming Universal Credit or Eligible
Kickstart Programme vacancies are only available via your Work Coach when you claim Universal Credit. Therefore, if you are eligible but not yet claiming you should apply for Universal Credit. Please reach out to us and we will be happy to assist and point you in the right direction.
