My client is a well-regarded East London School, looking to appoint an experienced Data & Reporting Manager to join their experienced support staff. This is an impactful role sitting at the heart of school operations; one where your expertise will be relied upon by senior leadership, governors and teaching staff alike. Our client is a school that takes its data seriously, investing in the right systems and the right people to ensure information drives improvement rather than just filling in forms.
Responsibilities
- Own and administer the school's MIS platforms, managing data integrity, producing high-quality reports on attendance, attainment, behaviour and progress.
- Ensure all statutory returns are completed accurately and on time.
- Produce in-year analysis reports, oversee assessment templates and report layouts, and use all sources of data to enhance senior decisions.
- Provide direct support and internal training to staff, assist with exam management.
- Ensure all data handling meets GDPR and records retention requirements throughout.
Qualifications
- Proven, hands-on experience working with both SIMS and Arbor.
- Authentic understanding of school data necessities, statutory requirements and best practice in data reporting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to make complex data accessible to non-technical colleagues.
- Immediate availability preferred; a minimal or no notice period would be beneficial.
