Role Overview: The Student Advisor is responsible for contacting prospective students, collecting the required documents to initiate their applications, guiding them through the full application-to-enrolment cycle, and maintaining strong conversion performance. Success in this position requires proactive communication, high attention to detail, and effective coordination with university partners and internal teams to ensure smooth progression and successful student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make daily outbound calls to prospective students who are already interested in studying with us.
- Explain programmes, requirements, opportunities, and guide them through next steps.
- Collect required documents to initiate the application process.
- Maintain strong call-to-conversion performance through effective communication.
- Update CRM systems with correct and timely information at every stage.
- Prepare students for university interviews and internal English tests communication.
- Maintain strong communication while preparing students to ensure zero drop out.
- Schedule and book interviews, tests, and other necessary appointments for students, providing timely reminders and support.
- Provide pending documents to university to release offer upon students' interview clearance.
- Build trust and rapport, serving as the student’s main point of contact throughout their journey.
Required Skills:
- 1–2 years’ experience in the student recruitment or education sector is preferred.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage, influence, and build trust with prospective students.
- Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills, capable of guiding students through decision-making and converting enquiries into enrolments.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a target-driven environment, consistently meeting and exceeding performance goals.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple leads, tasks, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and results-driven mindset, with a strong focus on achieving conversion targets.
