Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? At Educo Tuition, we are looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutors to provide one-to-one support for students across South East London. Our learners often have Special Educational Needs (SEN), behavioural challenges, and may be out of mainstream education, so your role will be vital in helping them re-engage, build confidence, and achieve their potential.

The Role: You will deliver tailored, one-to-one tuition sessions designed to meet each student’s individual needs. This may take place in the home, school, or community setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver personalised lessons based on each student’s ability and needs
  • Support students with SEN including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs
  • Manage and positively respond to challenging behaviour
  • Build strong, trusting relationships to support engagement and progress
  • Track and report on student development

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN and behavioural needs
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to suit different learning styles
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • Teaching qualification or relevant experience (desirable but not essential)
