SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary SEN Hub, Lambeth, September Start

Educo Recruitment is proud to be supporting a forward-thinking primary school in Lambeth in their search for a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist SEN hub from September on a long-term supply basis.

The school\’s on-site SEN hub provides targeted support for pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, SEMH, global developmental delay, and speech & language difficulties. The setting is well-resourced and led by a strong inclusion team who are passionate about delivering tailored support to help every child thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Full-time position in a specialist SEN provision within the school
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Working closely with therapists, SENCO and hub lead
  • Helping pupils access learning through a highly personalised curriculum

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children with complex needs or in a specialist setting
  • A calm, consistent and nurturing approach
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • A passion for inclusive education and pupil wellbeing

Location & Dates

Location: Lambeth
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Long-term supply (term-time only)

Rate: 95-110 per day
