Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new long-term opportunity? Educo Recruitment are working with a warm and inclusive primary school in Hackney who are seeking a dedicated SEN TA to join their team from September on a long-term supply basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, SEMH and speech & language difficulties, within a supportive and collaborative school environment.

Responsibilities

  • Full-time SEN TA position (term-time)
  • Supporting pupils across KS1/2 depending on your experience
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups to support learning and emotional development
  • Liaising with the SENCO and class teacher to track progress

Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEND (in a school or similar setting)
  • A patient, empathetic and adaptable approach
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education
