SEN Primary Teaching Assistant – Pinner

We are working with a SEN primary in Pinner that is looking for a SEN Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis.

As a SEN Primary Teaching Assistant, you will support primary-aged pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them access learning, develop independence and engage positively within the school environment.

Requirements

  • Previous UK-based experience supporting children with SEND is essential.
  • Primary school experience is desirable.
  • A patient, calm and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Confidence supporting individual learning and behavioural needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a SEN Primary Teaching Assistant, you will

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support.
  • Assist pupils with learning and development.
  • Support individual education and behaviour plans.
