We are currently seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join a high-achieving primary school in Southwark on a long-term basis, starting ASAP. In this Behaviour Mentor role, you will support pupils one-to-one and in small groups, helping them manage behaviour, stay engaged, and achieve their academic potential. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will provide emotional support for pupils experiencing difficulties, including managing outbursts or challenging situations, while promoting positive behaviour and resilience. Strong behaviour management, communication, and engagement skills are essential for this Behaviour Mentor role. Applicants must have at least one year of experience working within a primary school.
This is a three-form entry primary school with approximately 300 pupils, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, and well served by excellent public transport links. The school is committed to developing pupils’ lifelong love of learning by equipping them with the skills to identify and overcome individual barriers to learning. Teaching is underpinned by a holistic, evidence-informed approach with inclusivity at its heart, where staff model continuous learning alongside high expectations and compassion.
