We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Muswell Hill that is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. Rather than being assigned to one specific class or pupil, you will work across the school supporting children of different ages and abilities, helping to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive.
You will work alongside teachers and the SEN team, providing classroom support, delivering interventions, and assisting pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning interventions
- Supporting children with a range of SEN needs
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
