Educo Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced English Teacher to join a school in Haringey from November through to December.
The successful candidate will have strong experience teaching English at both GCSE and A Level and will be confident delivering engaging, well-structured lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5.
The ideal candidate will have:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) essential
- Proven experience teaching English at GCSE and A Level essential
- Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and examination requirements
- Experience preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students of different abilities
- A professional, reliable and adaptable approach
- Experience working within a secondary school setting
The role:
- Teach English across KS4 and KS5
- Deliver high-quality lessons and support student progress
- Prepare students for GCSE and A Level examinations
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement
- Work collaboratively with the wider English department
- Support students in achieving their academic potential
