We are currently seeking a warm, enthusiastic and proactive Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in North London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children during the crucial early stages of their education.
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to create a positive, engaging and nurturing learning environment where children can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
The Role:
- Supporting children within the Early Years classroom
- Assisting with phonics, reading, writing and numeracy activities
- Encouraging learning through play and creative activities
- Providing one-to-one and small group support where required
- Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
- Supporting children’s social development and emotional wellbeing
- Assisting with classroom preparation and daily routines
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children in an EYFS or primary school setting
- A positive, patient and caring attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
