We are currently seeking a reliable and hands-on Design & Technology Technician to join a busy and well-resourced secondary school on a full-time, long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, organised workshop environment and enjoys supporting both staff and students in practical learning.

What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing materials, tools, and equipment for DT lessons
- Maintaining and servicing machinery (woodwork, metalwork, etc.)
- Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed at all times
- Supporting teaching staff during practical lessons when required
- Managing stock, ordering materials, and keeping the workshop organised
- Carrying out risk assessments and maintaining safety records
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working with DT machinery (essential)
- Relevant certifications or qualifications relating to workshop machinery and health & safety
- Strong understanding of workshop safety standards and procedures
- A proactive, organised, and dependable approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- School-based experience is desirable, but not essential
