The Role

The Technical Implementation Consultant is responsible for requirements gathering, implementation, and system testing of the Cornerstone On Demand suite of products.

You will work closely with Educe clients to develop requirements for data migration and maintenance, as well as system integrations and configurations.

You will need to assist in configuration testing and troubleshooting interoperability of learning content and be familiar with various web platforms.

Also, you will provide post-implementation support to clients as they bring their user population online with the new or upgraded system features by translating complex technical concepts into actionable insights and solutions for stakeholders.

Technical Expertise

Ideal applicants hold the following technical expertise

  • Web services, including REST, SOAP, and WSDL
  • Understanding data management and relational databases (SQL, HRIS, Cloud software)
  • Proficiency working with and manipulating large data sets
  • Single Sign-On (SSO) via SAML, and AES
  • Cloud Configuration Management
  • Troubleshooting web applications and web browser settings

Responsibilities

  • The position involves working closely with clients and colleagues to do the following:
  • Gather and define technical requirements to meet business process and system needs.
  • Analyze and document technical design specifications for the application.
  • Lead clients through data migration efforts including data validation, error resolution, and data verification.
  • Assist in user acceptance testing efforts by helping test and responding quickly to issues that arise as a result of testing.
  • Lead clients through integration efforts including system connectivity, data transfer, unit testing, and integration testing.
  • Helping to develop and improve the Educe internal infrastructure as a whole and contributing to organizational objectives.

Qualifications

  • Professional experience specific to the technical expertise outlined above.
  • Experience working with enterprise software applications.
  • Experience customizing third-party applications through API interfaces, messaging and other means.
  • Ability to express oneself clearly in both verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work directly with both customers and Educe consultants to translate user needs into requirements documents and coordinate testing, implementation, and training for these requests.
  • Capable of independently researching, analyzing, evaluating, and documenting issues, products and solutions.
  • Demonstrable ability to resolve complex system or technical issues, often thinking on your feet, and offering multiple creative solutions or options.
  • Passionate about customer service, producing high-quality deliverables, and follow-through.
  • Attention to detail, determined, and solution oriented.
  • Ability to work autonomously, but also within a team environment.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and facilitating group discussions with senior executives.
  • Experience working with enterprise Learning Management Systems or Talent Management Systems, particularly Cornerstone On Demand, preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Ability to travel to semi-annual firm meetings and occasional on-site client travel.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.

This job is a home-based permanent position.

The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
