Salary: Grade 5 | Β£30,023 - Β£33,119 PRO RATA

The Governing Body of Nant Celyn Primary School wish to offer a Temporary contract for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The successful applicants will have a passion for learning and for supporting children. We are looking for someone who ideally has sound, robust experience and who demonstrates an understanding of early child development.

  • Are a creative and inspirational practitioner with a commitment to meeting and maintaining the Teaching Assistant Professional Standards;
  • Have the ability to support the class providing inclusive, creative and challenging learning opportunities, using technology innovatively;
  • Are a confident and proactive member of staff;
  • Have a sound knowledge of safeguarding principles;
  • An ability to form excellent relationships with children and their families.
  • Have a demonstrable history of having an impact on children's learning
  • Have a demonstrable history of providing high-quality intervention
  • Are ready and able to step in to offer short term cover in one of their assigned classes if necessary.
  • Have the skills and knowledge to effectively plan and deliver intervention for their assigned classes.
  • Are a keen and active member of the school community who relish opportunities to be involved in the life of the school outside of the classroom.
  • Are committed to attending professional learning opportunities and professional learning/ staff meetings.
