Job description

30 hours per week

The School of Care at the Newport Campus is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join the team.

Relevant experience within ILS is essential. A formal teaching qualification (assessor's award preferable also) are also a requirement for this role.

Skills in teamwork, motivating and inspiring students, developing a learner focussed curriculum and the ability to continually improve the learning experience will be essential.

The ability to use the Welsh language at basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable.

Requirements & Compliance

Safeguarding: Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check and EWC registration (costs covered by the candidate).

  • Qualifications: Lecturers must hold or be willing to achieve a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) within a set period.
