Start Date: 2nd November to 31st August 2027 (in the first instance)

The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a dedicated, proactive and highly motivated Caretaker to play a key role in the effective day-to-day management of our school site.

The successful candidate will help ensure that our buildings and grounds are safe, secure, well maintained and presented to a high standard. We are looking for an individual who is practical, dependable and able to use their own initiative, with a strong commitment to health and safety and the wellbeing of our school community.

Flexibility is essential for this role. The successful candidate will be required, on occasions, to provide cover for other members of the site team, which may involve working during the daytime rather than the usual evening hours on Week 2.

Working arrangements will also vary during the summer months, when different start and finish times may be required. This may include an earlier start and earlier finish on Week 2, according to the operational needs of the school.

We therefore welcome applications from candidates who have a positive and flexible approach to working hours, work well both independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate the skills and personal qualities that will complement our school culture.
