Are you passionate about the Welsh language and inspiring learners to use it with confidence?
The College Merthyr Tydfil is seeking a Bilingual Support Assistant to support Health and Social Care and Sport learners, playing a pivotal role in delivering the College's strategic commitment to expanding Welsh‑medium and bilingual learning, in line with the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol FE Action Plan and Cymraeg 2050.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a vibrant bilingual culture within the Sports department, creating meaningful, real‑world opportunities for learners to acquire, develop and maintain their Welsh language skills throughout their college journey.
Working closely with the Welsh Language Co‑ordinator, Welsh Team, teaching staff and learners, you will be central to promoting, embedding and celebrating the Welsh language across the curriculum and in the classroom, delivering Welsh language sessions and enrichment activities to learners and monitoring the progress of Welsh language learners - ensuring Welsh is seen not just as a subject, but as a living, everyday language within college life.
