We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Business Lecturer to join our established and supportive team based at our Dolgellau campus. The successful candidate will teach within our department that includes Level 2 and Level 3 courses, 14-16 provision, and a Higher Education BA (Hons) degree course in Business.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Business Lecturer to join our established and supportive team based at our Dolgellau campus. The successful candidate will teach within our department that includes Level 2 and Level 3 courses, 14-16 provision, and a Higher Education BA (Hons) degree course in Business.

You will provide high-quality and engaging learning experiences that help students develop the skills they need for industry and further study.

Your duties will include preparing and delivering engaging lectures to our learners, along with the associated administration, assessment, and quality assurance.

Applications are welcomed from individuals with recent experience working in the sector.

If you are new to teaching, we will support you to gain a recognized teaching qualification in Further/Higher Education. You will also have access to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and mentoring.

The success of our department is measured by high-quality teaching and the opportunities offered to our learners.

Holiday Entitlement

There will be an entitlement to pro rata paid holiday in each academic year (1st September to 31st August), which includes pro-rata entitlement of 8 Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in Wales and a pro-rata entitlement of up to 5 efficiency days (please note this can change annually). Annual leave is derived from a pro rata full time equivalent entitlement of 46 days which is included in the hourly rate paid.

Working Pattern

Up to 10 hours per week. Work pattern to be agreed with Programme Area Manager

An additional percentage of between 10% - 33.33% (subject to criteria) will be applied to the contracted hours worked to reflect preparation and marking
