The Governing Body of Croesyceiliog School is seeking to appoint an exceptional, innovative and inspirational Headteacher from April 2027 who will build on the school's recent progress and lead the next phase of its development. The successful candidate will inspire our enthusiastic and experienced Senior Leadership Team, dedicated teachers and highly effective support staff.

Croesyceiliog School has undergone significant and successful change in recent years, including moving into a state-of-the-art building. The school has successfully developed a clear, shared vision for its curriculum, designed in close consultation with pupils, parents and partners, ensuring learning is relevant, inclusive and ambitious for all. Following a full staffing change management process the school has successfully secured clear lines of accountability and has robust self evaluation processes to ensure the school continues to make progress against it's priorities.

The school's most recent Estyn inspection recognised positive relationships as a notable strength of the school, highlighting the strong culture of respect, trust and collaboration across the community. It was also noted that leaders prioritise staff and pupil wellbeing successfully, ensuring a supportive environment in which learners and staff can thrive.
