Haverfordwest High VC School is seeking to appoint two dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) specialising in Numeracy. One position will be full time, and the other will be a part-time position for either one or two days per week.
The successful candidates will join a supportive and ambitious school community committed to excellence, inclusion, and high expectations for all learners. In this role, you will take a lead in supporting pupils who require additional assistance to overcome barriers to learning. A key aspect of the post will be the planning, delivery, and evaluation of targeted numeracy interventions, helping pupils to develop confidence, skills, and achievement in numeracy.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A good standard of education and relevant qualifications.
- A sound understanding of the needs, rights, and wellbeing of children and young people.
- Experience of working with children and young people in an educational setting.
