Ysgol Dyffryn Conwy is a Welsh medium school (Category 3) with 607 pupils aged 11-18 including 80 in the Sixth Form. The school is located in the town of Llanrwst with the school serving the town and the wider rural area.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is essential. Due to the nature of the post the successful candidates will be subject to a disclosure by the Disclosure and Barring Service. It is a requirement that successful candidate will need to register with the Education Workforce Council prior to commencing employment.
