We are seeking to appoint a highly organised, professional and motivated Human Resources Administrator to provide effective administrative support to the school's HR function.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and a professional and confidential approach to join our thriving school community. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day administration of HR processes and work closely with colleagues across the school.

The role is offered on a 22-hour per week, term-time contract. We are happy to offer flexibility around the working pattern, and will consider how the hours can best be arranged to suit both the needs of the school and the successful candidate.

Due to the nature of the role and the seasonal demands of school-based HR administration, some work may need to be undertaken during the school holiday period, including the summer holidays, to support increased workloads and peak periods of activity. The successful candidate may therefore be required to work during the summer period, with appropriate flexibility around the overall working pattern.

The successful candidate will be approachable, reliable and able to manage confidential information with discretion. They will have the ability to prioritise their workload, meet deadlines and communicate effectively with staff at all levels.

Carmarthen, a vibrant market town nestled on the edge of the picturesque Towy Valley, is home to a pioneering comprehensive school that embodies the spirit of ‘Caring, Learning, Leading’. Our school is dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where all pupils can thrive academically, personally and socially.

If you are enthusiastic, well organised and keen to make a positive contribution to a busy and successful school community, we would be delighted to hear from you.
