17.5 hours per week Term Time

The successful candidate will be required to assist the cook with the preparation of school meals. You will assist in the training and organisation of staff and knowledge of kitchen administration procedures would be an advantage.

You will be expected to cover for the Cook in their absence and to cover at other schools within the County Borough.

An Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate is required for this post. Training will be provided if necessary.

Working hours will be arranged between the hours of 10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.

Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.

An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
