About the Role

Catering Assistant, St Chads - Hanmer

12.5 hours per week, term time only

Responsibilities:

  • Basic preparation of food and beverages, e.g., preparing vegetables, fruit and salads.
  • Simple cooking duties, such as preparation of snack items.
  • General kitchen and dining room duties, e.g., washing up, moving dining tables and chairs, clearing away dining room.
  • Cleaning the kitchen, equipment and surroundings.
  • Any duties commensurate with nature and grade of post, as instructed by the Cook in Charge.
  • Operation of a computerised school meals administration system.
