An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced Science Technician who is passionate about the learning experiences of pupils, to join our busy and successful Science Department. We are looking to recruit a Science Technician who is able to successfully contribute to the whole school ethos of Learn, Grow, Thrive and Flourish and to effectively support developing excellence in learning and wellbeing. We value all members of our school community and are relentless in instilling in our pupils a desire to be the very best of themselves. We have the highest expectations of our pupils and staff. We are very proud of our pupils and the supportive learning community we have created.
Responsibilities:
- Be self-motivated, organised, flexible, efficient and capable of carrying out KS3, KS4 and KS5 science curriculum requirements.
- Provide a range of specialist support including the preparation and maintenance of science, laboratory and other relevant resources and equipment.
- Have excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills ensuring an ability to deal with people/situations at all operating levels.
- Be an excellent team player.
