About the role
Pay Details: Grade 5, SCP 8 – 12, £25,992 – £27,711 (Pro Rata), £13.47 – £14.36phHours of Work/Weeks/Working Pattern: Variable weekly hours and number of contracted weeks to be agreed

Description: We are looking to recruit a dedicated and experienced person with a passion for working with children and creating an enriching play environment. You will be responsible for assisting the manager in the day to day running of before and after school sessions and to manage some of our holiday sessions. Working as part of a team you will be involved in the planning and delivery of fun and creative play opportunities for children. You will also assist in the completion of documentation such as risk assessments and daily attendance registers.
About you
You will need:
- A good standard of education to GCSE coupled with a relevant Level 3 qualification in Playwork, or an equivalent related childcare qualification such as CCPLD (Children\’s Care, Play, Learning and Development).
- Experience of working with children aged 4-11yrs old and excellent communication skills
- An understanding of the importance of play and playwork for children. Successful candidate will also have knowledge of legislation relevant to the provision of childcare for school aged children.
- DBS Check: Enhanced & Barred Both
- EWS Registration: Yes
