An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PLA Admissions Officer within the Student Services department at Cardiff and Vale College. This role will be based between the City Centre Campus and Barry Campus, Colcot Road. You will be a measured, reasonable professional, who enjoys working within a busy team environment. You will be able to demonstrate proven and sustained knowledge of working within the educational sector in an administrative role.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide excellent customer services to all stakeholders.
- Work closely with curriculum departments and keep them fully informed of their current recruitment progress and status.
- Deal with a full range of enquiries relating to all stages of the admissions process from application through to enrolment.
- Enter applications onto the College\’s Education Business System (EBS).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant files within EBS that document the applicant\’s recruitment journey.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contact logs in EBS.
- Administer all aspects of the application and enrolment process.
- Provide IAG and administrative support for learners\’ progressions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate progression data sets.
- Respond effectively to phone calls and direct email, Livechat, to appropriate areas.
While the ability to speak Welsh is not essential for the role, we would love to hear from candidates who are fluent and can engage with learners through the medium of Welsh.
