60% (mornings: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; all day Wednesday).
Maendy Primary are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational teacher to work in our Morning Nursery provision, delivering and supporting teaching and learning.
Maendy Primary is at the heart of the community. The school has an ALN Resource Base, a BESD provision, and from September, a part-time Nursery. The successful candidate will be joining Maendy Primary at an exciting time as we have recently moved to a new school building. This development has allowed us to expand from a one-form to a two-form entry, with pupil numbers expected to increase.
Candidates will be expected to:
- Work effectively and independently, using your own initiative, while being reliable, resilient, flexible, and proactive.
- Work well as part of our strong team and contribute fully to school life.
- Work under the guidance of the school leadership team.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities for whole classes, individuals, and groups.
- Monitor pupils\’ progress, assessing, recording, and reporting on their achievement and development.
- Maintain a calm and approachable manner with sound communication skills.
- Enjoy working with children and demonstrate a commitment to helping each child reach their full potential.
