The predicted salary is between 13 - 22 £ per hour.

Please note this is an hourly paid contract which means that specific days and hours cannot be guaranteed; they are offered on a casual, ad hoc basis to fit the needs of the service and may vary.

Salary: Unqualified: £26,386 - £31,139 per annum (pro rata, hourly paid); Qualified: £33,596 - £48,288 per annum (pro rata, hourly paid)

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, evaluate and deliver the curriculum content of programmes effectively and efficiently.
  • Deliver a range of subjects to ALN students with up-to-date knowledge and experience of course delivery.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Relevant degree (or equivalent) and a PGCE certificate, or be prepared to obtain this.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the ILS curriculum for Wales and delivery of the four pillars.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a wide and diverse student population; be passionate about motivating all learners.
  • Eligible to work in the UK and prepared to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure for child and adult workforce; registration as a FE Teacher with the Education Workforce Council.
  • Welsh language skills are encouraged; please specify in your personal statement whether you would prefer your assessment/interview in Welsh.
