We are seeking an experienced and strategic education leader to take on the role of Head of Service for School Improvement and Learning. As the strategic lead for school improvement across the authority, you will shape and drive the long-term vision for educational excellence, ensuring alignment with local and national priorities. You will bring a deep understanding of the education system and a proven track record of leading system-wide improvement that delivers measurable and sustainable impact. You will play a key role in Powys\’ education transformation, helping to deliver ambitious reforms that improve outcomes for all learners. With a clear focus on driving improvement that is both evidence-based and enduring, you will work closely with senior leaders, governors, and key partners to provide expert guidance, foster collaborative improvement, and ensure robust accountability.
