Responsibilities:
- Support the Finance Team with various tasks and handle administrative duties across the finance function.
- Act as point of contact for finance and student finance related queries.
- Carry out administration duties for the finance and student finance department as required, maintain financial spreadsheets and undertake tasks required to maintain the College ledgers (General/Purchase/Sales).
- Provide front‑facing cover at reception and for student finance.
- Communicate effectively and prioritise tasks, meeting challenging deadlines.
- Work on the College site as required.
Qualifications:
- Qualified to level 3 AAT or above, or hold a Level 3 Qualification in a relevant field. Support will be provided to gain AAT if not already held.
Experience:
- Recent experience of using advanced features of the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel.
- Excellent numerical skills for data entry, costings and budget calculations.
- Relevant experience working in a finance related role is highly advantageous.
Hours of Work:
- 37 hours per week (Monday – Friday). Part‑Time can be considered to a minimum of 30 hours per week (worked Monday‑Friday 8.30am – 3pm).
- Flexibility will be required for departmental needs such as sickness and annual leave.
Contract Type: Salaried – Permanent
