Salary Grade 5 - £26,403 - £27,694 pro rata.

Job Summary: Grade 5 – £26,403 for 28 hours per week term time only for 45.8 weeks per annum equating to £17,551.09 pro rata. The Cylch Meithrin at Ysgol Wirfoddol Cilgerran is seeking to appoint a Leader. This is a term time position working 5 days per week, providing care and support to children aged 2 -3 years. The successful candidate would join us in working in an environment which promotes excellence, inclusion and high expectations. Welsh Language provision is provided by Cylch Meithrin Ysgol Cilgerran.

Responsibilities: The Leader will provide quality care, support and educational activities for children aged 2‑3 years, ensuring an inclusive and high‑standard environment. The role involves fostering a nurturing and developmentally appropriate setting aligned with the council’s expectations of excellence, inclusion and high standards.

Qualifications & Experience: A good standard of education, and an understanding of children/young people’s needs and rights, together with experience of working with children is essential for this role. Registration with the Education Workforce Council will be required for this post.
