The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of food preparation and service, ensuring that cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained and providing excellent customer service to our pupils and staff. This role offers an 'annualised' pay scheme so that staff who work term time receive pay over 52 weeks. The Candidate:

  • The ability to run an efficient kitchen, including the preparation and serving of nutritious and appetising meals.
  • Experience in maintaining hygiene standards in kitchens.
  • The ability to provide varied meals for a range of special diets.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to lead a team.
  • Basic IT skills and the ability to complete all required paperwork, including ordering and management of stock.

You will need:

  • A positive attitude and the willingness to learn new skills.
  • A food hygiene certificate and previous experience in a catering or hospitality role (advantageous but not essential).
  • Flexibility and the willingness to assist with other duties.
