Cardiff and Vale College are looking for a Lecturer in CIPD based within the CAVC for Business team at the City Centre Campus with the expectation to cover other campuses as needed.
Job Purpose - CIPD Lecturer
The successful candidate will be responsible for subject planning, preparation, and assessment. Responsibilities include:
- Undertaking academic work such as classroom teaching, tutorial work, and student placements;
- Handling organizational and administrative work, preparation, and marking;
- Providing student welfare and counseling;
- Involvement in marketing, course planning, development, and evaluation;
- Assisting in engaging with employers for new income;
- Monitoring student progress and learning support;
- Performing other duties as required;
- Welsh language skills are desirable.
About CAVC for Business
CAVC for Business includes a Business Development team and Learning and Development Solutions team. The department is responsible for college positioning with employers, delivering training, and offering accredited qualifications.
The successful candidate will have a teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards one and a relevant degree.
