Are you an experienced hairdressing lecturer looking to inspire the next generation of learners? Or are you an industry expert looking to pass on your knowledge to others? Coleg Ceredigion has a very exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Hairdressing to join the team at our Cardigan Campus.

About the role: Hairdressing programmes range from school link 14-16 partnerships and further/higher education courses from Level 1 to Level 4. Learners study on different modes, ranging from full time, part time and work based learning. Learners benefit from a wide range of extra-curricular activity and a well embedded tutorial support system. The Welsh Baccalaureate is also offered alongside many courses. Learners' work is regularly showcased in events within the College and externally. Hairdressing learners have also achieved success in regional, UK and World Skills competitions.

What do you need? The successful applicant will need to have an NVQ Level 3 in hairdressing and, ideally, a teaching qualification. However, if you are not in possession of a teaching qualification at the date of employment, you will be supported to obtain a PGCE within 2 years of this date. You will also need industry experience and a keen interest in supporting students to be the best they can be.
