The role is Assistant Cook; you will assist the cook with the preparation of school meals and may cover the Cook in their absence and at other schools within the County Borough.
Responsibilities
- Assist the cook with the preparation of school meals.
- Assist in the training and organisation of staff; knowledge of kitchen administration procedures would be an advantage.
- Cover for the Cook in their absence and cover at other schools within the County Borough.
- Greet customers through the medium of Welsh (this is a requirement for this post).
Qualifications
- Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate is required for this post. Training will be provided if necessary.
- Ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
- Enhanced Disclosure with the Children's Barred List (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
Working hours
Working hours will be arranged between 10:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.
