Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting students in their educational journey? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant secondary school in Cheshunt. The role is to work on a full-time permanent contract. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young people and supporting them to achieve their best in a supportive and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities: * Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with additional learning needs * Assist with classroom management and ensure a positive learning environment * Work closely with teaching staff to implement tailored support strategies * Help students develop social and emotional skills * Support students with both academic tasks and personal development * Assist in the preparation and organization of learning resources and activities Key Requirements: * Experience of working with young people, particularly in an educational setting (desirable) * A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting students * Good communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively as part of a team * A commitment to helping students reach their full potential
