About the Role
We are partnering with a welcoming, supportive primary school in Stockport that is seeking a confident Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom, supporting pupils to achieve their potential in a positive and inclusive environment. As a Level 3 TA, you will play a key role in helping pupils engage with learning, grow in confidence, and thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher with daily lessons and classroom management
- Deliver 1:1 support and small group interventions tailored to pupils' needs
- Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and assessment
- Create an engaging, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
- Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents to support learning and development
About You
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a primary or secondary school setting
- Knowledge of the national curriculum and effective classroom support strategies
- A proactive, caring, and reliable approach to supporting learning
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
