Overview
We are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Middleton, starting as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and loves helping young children learn, grow, and thrive during this crucial stage of development. Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
- Supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Working alongside the class teacher to deliver fun, engaging, and play-based learning
- Providing 1:1 and small group support
- Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
- Supporting children\’s social, emotional, and developmental needs
Qualifications
- Experience working within EYFS (qualification preferred)
- A warm, patient, and positive approach
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
