Overview

We are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Middleton, starting as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and loves helping young children learn, grow, and thrive during this crucial stage of development. Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

  • Supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Working alongside the class teacher to deliver fun, engaging, and play-based learning
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support
  • Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
  • Supporting children\’s social, emotional, and developmental needs

Qualifications

  • Experience working within EYFS (qualification preferred)
  • A warm, patient, and positive approach
  • A genuine passion for working with young children
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
