We are currently looking for candidates who are interested in temporary Attendance Officer roles to cover staff absence and assist schools in maintaining excellent attendance records and supporting student welfare.
As An Attendance Officer, You Will Be Responsible For
- Monitoring and managing student attendance daily
- Identifying patterns of poor attendance and working closely with students, parents, and staff to improve overall attendance rates
- Reporting attendance data accurately and promptly to the relevant school leaders
- Following up on absenteeism and ensuring appropriate documentation and actions are in place
- Working on development and implementation of attendance improvement strategies
- Providing administrative support related to attendance records and issues
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or attendance-related role (preferably in an educational setting)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or other relevant software
- A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting students and resolving attendance issues
