Pastoral Manager / Pastoral Lead – Full Time – Bradford – September Start
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a Pastoral Manager / Pastoral Lead for a full-time, long-term role starting in September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced pastoral professional to take a leading role in supporting student welfare, behaviour, and engagement. The ideal candidate will be passionate about student development, able to build strong relationships, and confident working with young people facing a range of social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.
Role Overview
- Full-time, long-term position starting September
- Oversee pastoral provision and student welfare across a year group or key stage
- Lead on behaviour management strategies and attendance monitoring
- Liaise with SLT, teachers, parents, and external agencies
- Safeguarding responsibilities and supporting SEMH needs
What We\’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a pastoral, behaviour, or inclusion role within a school setting
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Up-to-date DBS on the Update Service (essential)
- Ability to remain calm, resilient, and supportive in a busy school environment
