Job Title: Early Years Teaching Assistant Location: Primary School in Blackburn

Job Description: Veritas Education is seeking an enthusiastic Part time Early Years Teaching Assistant working 2-3 days per week to support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality lessons. You\’ll work closely with class teachers, assisting in both one-to-one and group settings, providing essential support to pupils, particularly those with additional needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
  • Provide one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs, as well as support in group settings
  • Help create an inclusive and stimulating environment for early years learners
  • Manage classroom behaviour to support a positive, productive atmosphere
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to enhance student learning experiences

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning)
  • Experience working with children in a classroom setting
