The Role

We are looking for a passionate, professional Childcare Practitioner with a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification to join our dedicated team. You will work closely with children aged 0-5 years, supporting their development through play-based learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality, child-centered care and education
  • Planning and implementing stimulating activities that support children\’s learning and development across all prime and specific areas of the EYFS (Communication & Language, Physical Development, Personal, Social & Emotional Development, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, and Expressive Arts & Design)
  • Observing and assessing children\’s progress using recognized tools such as the Development Matters and Birth to 5 Matters frameworks
  • Supporting children\’s welfare, health, and safety in line with safeguarding and SEND requirements
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic care and support
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and professional development opportunities within the nursery
