We\\\'re looking for a Behavioural Support Assistant who can build strong, positive relationships with pupils and help them feel safe, understood, and motivated at school. You\\\'ll play a vital role in improving behaviour, emotional regulation, and social skills - making a real impact every single day.
Behavioural Support Assistant Responsibilities
- Supporting students with behavioural challenges in and out of class
- Helping to implement individual behaviour support plans
- Working closely with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams
- Creating a calm and supportive environment where pupils can succeed
- Encouraging positive choices and celebrating progress
Behavioural Support Assistant Requirements
- Someone calm under pressure, with a caring but firm approach
- Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A good sense of humour and a genuine desire to help
- Previous experience in education, care or youth work (ideal but not essential)
