ESU 7 has an ongoing need for a Substitute Paraprofessional. This will be an on-call and as-needed position, typically for a 6-hour workday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at $20 per hour. Applicants will be working with students with disabilities ranging from cognitive to behavioral.
Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Follow the specific directions given by the supervising teacher when working with students.
- Maintain positive communication at all times when conducting ESU 7 business or representing ESU 7.
- Support students to develop independent life skills.
- Meal preparation (menu development, shopping, meal preparation, and clean up).
- Support and accompany students on job sites.
- Support students in job preparation (uniforms, IDs, hygiene, skills needed).
- Complete job site work journal/evaluation.
- Maintain and submit one-on-one student hours.
- Maintain confidentiality of information concerning staff, students, and parents within all districts served.
- Adhere to all ESU 7 policies, rules, regulations, and supervisory directives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the ESU 7 Chief Administrator or designee.
