Educational Service Unit 7 is seeking applicants to fill the position of an anticipated Professional Development Coordinator. This 225‑day (1.0 FTE) position is responsible for providing professional learning support for educators. This multifaceted position facilitates customized support to meet the unique needs of ESU 7’s school districts.
Requirements for the position are:
- Master’s Degree
- Minimum of five years teaching/administrative experience
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to provide engaging training and support to ESU 7 school personnel as well as have knowledge of (or a willingness to learn):
- Early Childhood Education
- Classroom Coaching

Required Responsibilities and Job Tasks:

- Gather information: Observe, receive and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources.
- Training and Teaching Others—Identifying the educational needs of ESU 7 district personnel, developing formal educational or training programs or classes, and teaching or instructing others.
- Analyzing Data or Information—Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or acts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.
- Updating and Using Relevant Knowledge—Keeping up‑to‑date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
- Monitoring Processes, Materials, or Surroundings—Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.
